LOL!!!,...yes, I can definitely relate to that one bro. I think we have all done some forgetful things in our snake rooms here and there over the years. I know I have, but luckily it is kept to a bare minimum of instances.

Bottom line here as you know is....."Sh#@" happens once in a while..

Glad you got the snake back safe and sound. I sure know how GOOD that feels!....BOY! do I ever!..LOL!

Doug is right, stuff happens. I was feeding and cleaning just a couple nights ago, and I had a pair of corns in a separate bin for breeding. When I separated them, I accidently put the male in the wrong tub. I was still in there working and I heard bang, boom, slap! I looked up to see my male Honduran Milk pushed up against a corner, and the male Corn in the opposite corner. Oh shoot! I'm glad I didn't put the corn in one of my Florida King's cage, lol!

Did I miss something? I thought it was funny. Da plane comment was for running to the rescue of someone and being their side kick so to speak. I was acknowledging a funny post? Are you taking up for Thomas now? I think I hear another plane, lol.

Good thing you checked records before the garbage disposal service arrived! LOL!

I once almost threw away a yearling striped Pacific gopher snake. I was cleaning their tub and he was in their moist sphagnum moss hide, a Glad container, and I had put that out in the yard on the ground to be washed and changed. It sat out there for hours! I had even looked at it before taking it outside and didn't see him in it. So when I couldn't find him in the big cage in the deep aspen I searched the entire house before double checking that moss hide. There he was still all coiled up in the middle of the moss.

I threw away a yearling corn once. I was cleaning cages and somehow he got dumped with the aspen. I tied the bag up and kept going when I noticed him missing I figured out what must have happened. Luckly all my aspen went to compost then so I just had to open it up and dig him out.
