Got some of my pink pastels together for a group shot, and wanted to show off some variations. The biggest pink is a bhb line pink pastel female. The medium pink is my male i produced using the bhb pink outbred to some of my females (lazik blood), and the small pink is what i'm calling a tangerine pink. The medium pink is the father to the tangerine. The color variation between the 3 is amazing, the bhb pink is so light it is almost white. This year i will be breeding the medium pink male to some het females that are siblings to the tangerine female (shes just not big enough yet), to prove the color genetic. The het sibs just look like normal color hognose, and the pink sibs look lighter than the father, so i'm ruling out a line bred color trait. I guess i will find out something in a few months. I dont get on this forum too often, so if i dont respond to any replys its just because im off feeding hognose.
