VPI T Positive Update

sean0411 Mar 12, 2011 11:29 AM

Well one of my t pos girls should give birth in the next 4-5 days. She had her waxy stool and everything seems fine. Here are a couple pictures, one of her scale separation and one of her entire body. It seems as though she has her tail cocked to one side to prevent the babies from bursting out. Fingers crossed for a great litter.

That is SAHWEEET! Are the VPI T-Pos Bloodline Boas just plain chunky compared to regular Colombians? I know this one is gravid, but it seems like I see them often looking like they have a body shape more like a Blood Python than that of your typical Boa. A beautiful site to behold!

Thanks for the comments. I can only comment as far as the 2 adult vpi t pos females I have. This particular girl before she became gravid was very very muscular (thick). The other adult female I have is a little different. They are both around the same length but the other is a little bit more slender. She is actually gravid at the moment too but I will try and get a couple of pictures as you can still tell she has a bit different body type.
