Big Bertha

Here is my largest Corn hands down! She is just under 5 feet by my measurements, but she was a bit tense so she may be a little longer. I tried to mate her with my sunkissed male but she's not ready yet.

Very cool Jorge!. Nice sunkissed!.

Yeah, I'm sure it depends on several factors in the environment they are kept at any given time(lighting, temps, etc..) and I'm sure over at your place things could be a bit different than they were here at my place back in '09 too when she bred and laid that huge pile of 35 plus eggs for me on her first breeding. She stopped tail-slapping and bred for the first time on May 14th and 16th, so it might be another while yet, but I'm sure she will come around for you pretty soon and accept the male's advances. Hope she throws another huge pile for ya like she did last time..LOL!

Good luck with all your stuff!

I'm sure it's just a matter of being a bit early still. I just pulled her out of brumation a couple of weeks ago. The male has been out a little longer.

Yep,.....that's for sure bro. Things have only just barely started to get rolling now..LOL!

I am going to try introducing some things a bit earlier, but most all my stuff breeds late than earlier here for whatever reason(s).

Usually my animals don't get breeding until April and into May, but I will still see what happens and how they seem to react to each other pretty soon. Some of my Hondos even held out until the middle of June to breed.

I was like......geeez!, C'MON ALREADY!!..LOL!

Nice. Is that a wild-caught snake? The reason I ask is it seems that the "natural" types seem to have a bigger average size than morphs. At any rate, I reckon you'll get a lot of eggs out of that one when she breeds.

Yeah Tim, Doug actually was the one who caught this girl in Brevard County back in 2004. She dwarfs my selectively bred Miami Corns.
