beardies front foot swollen?

troy13 Sep 28, 2003 12:32 PM

I noticed a couple of days ago that my beardies front right foot is swollen. Could he have broken it? When he basks he sometimes raises it up and kind of shakes it. At the same time it does not seem to affect his hunting ability. If anyone could give me some advice it would be most appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know mountains about beardies at this point, but I'd take it to a vet ASAP. It could very well be broken, and would be better to get it treated before something heals wrong and causes more debilitating damage.

I agree, a vet visit would be the best thing to do. It may not be a fracture but something could have embedded itself into his foot to cause the swelling, or an infection. In either case, it should be checked by a vet.
