I like your thinking there, but hard to do into a mirror. Still get a feel for the heft of those. Otherwise, to me that image is rather artful though, ...the overall shapes and lighting are interesting.

I always think to take these types of pics when I have to devote one of my hands to a camera weather it be a good one or cell phone as in this pic. I really enjoy looking at any pics of any kind of pits but the ones that display a referance to the individual animals size are the ones I REALLY like. For example that monster named "Ahnuld" I could look at pictures of that snake all day. Size is what hooked me on the snakes of this genus. The first one I ever saw was a Bull that my dad pulled over for to move off the road. It was around a six footer. I was 10. Many years ago. But The snakes of this genus have always been my number one.
