Florida breeding questions

wbcrows Mar 15, 2011 09:51 PM

I cooled my MBK's and will attempt to breed for the first time,
I haven't cooled my florida kings,
2 questions
Can they breed without cooling and what size is appropriate to breed(lenght weight...) Also I'm a little worried my male is larger by a little then the female...will that be a problem?

1) yes they woll breed w/o cooling
2) I have bred 20-22 " females consistently. I also get better fertility out of younger smaller floridana.
3) Not a problem with larger or smaller male/female sie for breeding. As long as they have bonded.
