Northern Pines...

byron.d Mar 16, 2011 04:24 PM

I'm going to follow this post up with new photos. These photos are about six or eight months old now.

Dominant gene Patternless - this girl is from pure locale stock.
Sired by the W/C patternless male.

Hypo male - this guy has gotten lighter and better looking.

Reduced pattern females - these two have gotten much lighter.
One is more reduced than the other.

Yellow phase locality Northern - not yellow yet, but these are said to rival the KY yellow Northerns.

Thanks for looking.

All are awesome Byron. If the yellow phase turns out anything like the KY yellows I have seen pics of then you are a lucky man. They are my favorites by far!!

I was told by the breeder they'll be very yellow - schoolbus yellow, I dont see any indications of that as of now, but I think they're awesome regardless. Those KY Pines are just amazing looking.

Thanks for the compliment.

If you don't mind me asking, who is the breeder? I have been trying to track down some captive born pines from the Southeastern Mountain states (KY or TN) for awhile. I know you said they aren't from KY, but appear similar, which will work for me as well. Just curious.

my pair of 'yellow phase' are from John Cherry.

he may still have one or two available...
