from northeast alabama first one i've seen the was logging think they stired him up they stay underground mostly

Cool snake!. A friend of mine has one a lot like yours with the reduced pattern. His (a large male) was collected in Chatham Co., NC. I've seen others from that area that have bold patterns. - Mike
