Needing some Feedback & Opinions

SnakeJunkie77 Mar 17, 2011 11:40 AM

Im being offered an 09' 700gr. female 100% Het Lavender Albino female for $1K. The only problem is that she is a mouse only feeder. Just worried about her being able to put weight on with just a mouse only diet and would her clutches be very small due to that? Im not concerned with her being a bogus het as she is coming from a well known breeder who only deals mainly with higher end animals. The breeder has tried many times to switch her but without success. Just wanting some opinions and feedback! Thanks

mice are good food....
I use them alot....they make huge balls...trust me....
and no you don't have to feed everyday or 6 at a time...

.......mice make leaner balls...rats make fat, pinheaded balls faster.......fat isn't good...they have trouble breathing while they tie their shoes....

Jeff,
Sounds like your talking from experience about the mice....and the shoes...lol

Now seriously I have seen Jeff's collection and they are all very nice and healthy just from feeding mice. As far as buying a snake that is het for that price I would seriously want to see some kind of Docs stating thats what it is.

As far as it being what the breeder says it is...I have no issues with that as the breeder lives within 30 minutes of me and I will see his collection first hand and it will come with guaranteed genetics and paperwork as well. All the ball pythons I have had fed on rats and never had to deal with an adult feeding on mice only and was just wanting some feedback! Thanks!
