I caught a few pairs in the act last niht as well.

these are pure nelsoni 100% het amel.

here the t plus is getting busy with one of his six brides.LOL...

I know the rest aren't milks but they are still lampropeltis.
This is my pair of f2 San Juanito knoblochi that throw off the candycane's.

this is a pair of het hypo greeri.I sure hope I get good eggs this year. The hypos are just incredible looking.

just a pair of really nice high white cal kings.

one of my "bishop locale" cal king pair.these are screamer b&w desert phase and w/c to boot.

I had a few pairs of alterna hook up too but only was able to get one decent pic.these are sandersons and the female is w/c and the male is her son from when I collected her in (07) gravid. Can't wait to see dark babies with bright red hatch.Well, thats what I am expecting but you never know for sure with these guys.

I also had some Mexican bairds,w/c annulata, anery celaenops, black belly cal kings, yumanensis and a couple pairs of hondos hook up.I was un able to get any pics without disturbing them to much.
Should be a good year as I have 132 females that should go.Average about 6 or 7 per clutch I am probably looking at about 800-900 eggs and if a few double clutch I should see 1000 eggs this year.Looks like I beter get busy on another baby rack.LOL....

Those are some great pics Shannon. I cant imagine managing that many offspring. That is impressive. You must have feeding and cleaning down to a science.

Thanks Mike. Its pretty hard especially working a full time gig and another part time plus the six kids and a grandkid etc....
Basically I just try to break it up and spend about 2-3 hours per day from mid feb to mid Nov.In a weak cycle I am able to clean every cage and feed every snake then its starts all over again. If I miss just one day I have to make it up later and sometimes I am not sure even how I do it with no help.I used to have over 500 snakes and it became such a job I had to scale back and actually I produce more now then I did when I had that many cause I am able to feed beter etc.....
I must really love this cause its not like I make thousands a year doin it.LOL....

p.s. not to mention the time I spend in the field each year.I enjoy that even more than the husbandry side of it.

Of course the media is treating this as if a bomb went off here. Stupid stupid media, always thinking the public are idiots. Science always comes last. I know radiation isn't good, but geez..

Anyway, I dig those Cal kings, nice thin white bands. I bet they are not very easy to find in your area?

Those Bishop b&w cal kings are spectacular, Shannon

Thanks Terry, check this one out. This is the best one I have ever found in the 40 years I have been here.I sent this fat girl (along with a really nice male) to my good friend Steve Witt in Jersey and he should be producing babies this year.
p.s. I found this girl just crawling onto the highway and was about to get smashed by 18 wheels.I just grabbed her in time.It was just 7 miles from my front dor. They don't get any better than this man.
