Drive up to Captiva Island, without a doubt the prettiest place in Florida! AND TRY SOME FISHING!

Try road cruising an hour before and for 2-3 hrs after dark on the paved road in Everglades National Park. The road is about 30 miles to the end and cuts thru a few different habitats. You'll have to pay the park fee but the pass is good for a week and well worth it. You will see water snakes, garter snakes , ribbon snakes, water moccasins, rat snakes and with luck a kingsnake or possibly a pigmy or eastern diamondback rattlesnake. Then if your really lucky there are burmese pythons there as well. Good luck.

Have been to captiva Island today... very nice but it took me a hard time through the traffic... in the end of the day it was worth it... Thanks.

Good Idea with the nightdrive through the Glade road thanks for the advice..

What do you think about the Iguana iguana I saw on the Bahia Honda Key.. I did not know that they can be found there ??
