...albino x lavender! What would I get with this combination? Would they be lavender het albino or normal het for albino & lavender?

What do you mean by albino? Is it a T-neg? Cause everything else is lavender.

In cal kings when breeding 2 recessive genes (albino & lavender)together you will get offspring that are normal looking and are double hets. All offspring would be 100% het for albino and 100% het for lavender.

But I have found that when breeding 2 recessive genes together of various types some of the expected "normal" looking offspring have a hypo look to them.

I only think in Floridana, lol. I forgot about the Cal kings. But It's probably the same senario. It's just that the Florida T-negs are still quite rare.

Normal Double hets usually.....And as Kerby mentioned with calkings you could get some some that will have some reduced melanin.....Would we call these visual hets?

Years ago I bred a lavender Holbrooki to an amel Holbrooki and got all normal double hets with none that had lighter black.......But over the years I have paid some attention to what Kerby was doing with Calkings and have seen some of his like he mentioned above.....
