Kind of Kinky

eve Sep 28, 2003 02:48 PM

It really is Kinky, and he continues to do well, head bobbing alot at Chinook. I like taking his pic, he poses nice. And Looks good for an older guy and his tail is not as Kinky, I dont have an answer for that, as to why, but it looks better as he has gained and shed. ! LOL Eve

He's such a pretty little thing. Has his tail unkinked any? Hey if he & Chinook don't work out I could always send squig over as he seems to be quite the charmer. = )

as far as Kinky he does look better his tail, with each shed, it will always be kinky, but it just looks better, maybe he is holding it staighter, LOL I'm very pleased with him. DC's yellowheads have all made remarkable progress too ! Hows the Honeymoon couple? LMAO Eve

They're doing good. I haven't seen them mate though. If he's not chasing her around all the time trying to mate with her, does that mean they already have? Or that she bit him really hard on the nose for trying? I saw him start head bobbing at her, & they both walked towards each other. But then he just kinda walked in a circle over her a few times & sat down next to her. It's weird. But as long as she's being active I'm not gonna worry too much about babies.

Of course I am partial, I love Kinky! He looks like he has filled out a bit and his color has gotten brighter if that is possible!

It's all just a big conspiracy. Her evil plot: to have all the collared lizards in the world to herself. I revealed your secret, Eve. Bwahahahahaha.

eve Sep 29, 2003 12:08 PM

LMAO ah hahhaha, your funny girl, I liked that, very good . Eve

lauraLSU Sep 29, 2003 02:00 PM

I think she is going to take all of the collareds and breed a race of intelligent lizards to TAKE OVER THE WORLD! Luckily Kristin revealed her secret before she abducted the innocent lizards of the forum!

so I think its great seeing the lizards people are on here posting about. It truely becomes an extended CYBER family. Some of you I have been talking with a few years. On one forum or another. I pretty much know all the collareds by name. And I enjoy seeing each and every one. Its fun seeing some of them grow up and change, PRETTY COOL, so post a dang pic Laura, hehehehheeh LOL Eve

Hehehe. Squig & Siona are so cute together. They were out this morning. Squig wasbasking up on the ledge & Siona was down on the ground running around. Squig kept scooting over to the side of the ledge so he could watch her. It was adorable. I was waiting for him to scoot a little too far & fall off but no such luck. So how do I know when she's ready to lay?

eve Sep 29, 2003 09:25 PM

Hey, since you really don't know if they mated or not, I would mark on a calender the day you noticed the orange, and count 22-24 days approx. IF she is going to lay, you will notice her appetite decreasing few days or so before.(In that last week) And she will start to digin that last week also, or even a few days before she actually lays. So start keeping an eye on her. Notice if she starts filling out and gets a heavy feel to her(heavier than normal). Oh and right now she should begin to eat like crazy. You will also have to set up a place for her to lay soon too ! Eve

...and his color looks way different, a different shade of blue than I remember. Sampson has shed a few more times and his blue is not a deep as it was at first, its a much brighter deep-space sky blue. LT's color is still very dark blue, almost the color of a new pair of Levi's LOL. Oh, and Boink laid a clutch of 4 small eggs, and she seems to be fine, pigging again already. Brutus seems more animated today and ate some too, maybe she will just resorb. The eggs Boink laid don't really look like they are going to do anything, but they seem to be fully developed and have good 'shells' so they are in the incubator anyway.

like I told you, it is always a worry till they are done. She looks chunky and bright in that pic, and sure hope all goes well with your other girl also. Chia is still hanging in there, she does not look good to me, tierd, not eating. But she acted that way the last time also before she layed. Oh and yes, don't give up on the eggs, not until they visually look BEAT. Hopi's 6 eggs this clutch looked oblong and smallish compared to last time.
But they now have grown Bigger than her fist set and look beautiful so far ! So give it time. Eve
