They are almost white as hatchlings, then they color up.

Mike do the simple citrus pastels exhibit this whiteness as hatchlings as well? or is it strictly the super forms, and super citrus pastel combos that are born washed out and white like that?
incredible animals and thanks for posting the photos!
No the citrus pastels aren't white like that. The ones I have are very nice pastels, I didn't think much more about it than that. I don't think anyone did. They were a little more than other pastels, but seemed worth it since they were nicer than most pastels.
One of the main characteristics is the extreme blushing. I have citrus pastel in lots of projects before it was known that they do strange things. I'm thankful that I listened to Amir.
Here is the citrus super pastel, that is pictured as a hatchling in the first post and below.

thank you. the super citrus pastel is incredible. i can see why they say it looks similar to a super vanilla super pastel. i can not wait to get my citrus male into some other things.
thanks

Both Chris And Sheila saw the snake at a show without the other being present, both said it looked like the super pastel super vanilla.
Yeah, like Mike says.
The regular citrus pastels just look like extremely nice pastels that are very bright and have high blushings. But once the super is out they do some crazy stuff. We have only seen a few citruses with the super combos. Not many supercitrus combos with other morphs have been done yet so im thinking this will be an interesting season.
I also attached a citrus whiteout next to a regular pastel. This guy glows in color but doesnt seem like it would do what it does.
