coastal striped jersey female....2 clutches first year with no male contact....not good thing....grow...no....second year 2 clutches...hatched a bunch....6 ate ...all dead....sad....
this year....brumated with the rest....up...fed...fed...shed...lay...wait...you didn't breed yet? I don't need anymore little duds...yep..yesterday she dropped a bunch of duds...the males' been going nuts ...he wants her....she just drops duds and screws up HIS program...
and she's still too small for MY taste...I'd like her to double in size.....oh well...she got one more chance this year....sad....had to whine...
COLE!!...frogs in PA are actually...done..well...the wood frogs are done...eggs growing nicely...spotted salamanders are probably done also....moon was up and orange for a couple hours last night...2 short eared owls spotted...one harrier...couple killdeer...1000 snow geese yet?..late..0 swans...hundreds of canadas....some blacks..ringnecks and cool shovelers right next tot he road....so...warm up and more stuff will come around....!!! good luck!
