Hey guys I went to the exotic bird show in Medina today and they had a something I wasn't intending to buy! A BEARDIE! Well he (not named yet), hopefully he's a he isn't what I was intending to buy buy I held him and he fell right asleep on my hand so I fell for him!...So needless to say I bought him!!! YAHOO!! But! But! I totally forgot that I have all my supplies but the main thing - MY UVB!!! I totally forgot in the heat of it all I hadn't bought a UVB bulb yet...I was hoping for a Mercury vapor but I can't do that as the bulbs here where I live are 90.00!!! So I need to buy online...What I need to know is it all right to have him without UVB for 2 days until I can get to PETCO and buy his ReptiSun 5.0....I Know first day of being a beardie parent and already doing a bad job!!! I'll take a pic and show later...He's not as flashy as most everyone's in here but he's mine!!

yeah thatll be fine. just make sure youre supplementing with calcium. mvb bulbs online are 33-40 bucks, cheaper than a basking bulb uvb bulb fixture.

I was there too! I got there about 1:00 and saw the beardies. Was it Pual Lewis's Dragon Ranch? That's where I got mine. I hope you love it as much as I love mine!

he should be fine if you suppliment his crickets with Calcium with Vitamine D3, not just Calcium alone. Bearded dragons need the D3 to be able to use the calcium.
