I'm excited about this one a lot!

perfectpredators Mar 23, 2011 02:43 PM

I got this girl 5 years ago or so and I finally found a male "worthy" of taking her virginity..LOL!! I picked out a very decent but younger male Pink Panther. I purchased her for BIG BUCKS even for then as I thought she was the baddest boa I had seen that was non motley or jungle etc. Here's her baby pic, many of you may remember her postings from then:

This is what she looks like as of last night 10PM EST a bit less colorful of course cause shes gravid but still majestic I think:

her due date per Ovulation is 05/19 per POS: 5/26. It feels like light years away...LOL

This is just sick Mr. Manny. Just sick! Don't you think you are being a little greedy putting ALL that red into those offspring? The babies of those babies are going to make my head explode!

Your head is one of my motivating factors when I decide what to pair up every season. I rub my chin and scratch my head and think "what can I pair up to see if Mr. Ronne's head will explode this baby season." LLLLOOOOOLLLLL!!!!!! Thank you for the Props, she was your creation, you will be a proud grand daddy!

you got your facts good! I know that this animal had a lot of admirers.

Jonathan_Brady Mar 23, 2011 03:46 PM

Lar, you're like the CIA of boa hobbyists! You know everything about everyone's animals! lol

I wish my memory worked like that. People get upset with me because I can't remember a particular animal of theirs. My brain just doesn't work like that.

Wish my brain worked more like yours!

Her father was a Pastel from the DuBay Pastel bloodline. This however is her mother:

Her mother was the Best Boa I have ever owned in my opinion.

thats perhaps the best boa ive ever seen. what did she look like as a baby?

LarM Mar 23, 2011 05:45 PM

Wow somehow I forgot she had a litter, so that male was her Uncle and he is the brother To "The Beauty".

That explains my discrepancy in years or time frame I couldn't figure.

I believe the Nova litter was born in '06 and that Monstertail Hypo
Manny now has was clearly at least a yearling when
that picture was taken in '06.

Wow so then is this a brother or uncle to Manny's Hypo MT because I forget ?

WOOOW!!! Looks like you should have a pile of gorgeous orange, pink and red babies and the most exciting to me is that they will be Het VPI T i am assuming. Thanks for the post and the pics she looks wonderful.

I did a very similar breeding this year with one of my double douse pink panther males!

Lucas

perfectpredators Mar 23, 2011 04:05 PM

yes they all will be 100% VPI T Pink Panther which is a co-dom trait or polymorphic or what not. Im left wondering now with all the color from the mom...how will I know which one is Pink Panther and which are straigth VPI hets...LOL. Well Lucas my friend...what did you do that is similar to this? now that you mentioned it you have to come clean! LOL

LucasMatlock Mar 23, 2011 09:11 PM

I used a VPI Double Dose Pink Panther T male to my OT Hypo Female (mom of Chris Gilberts Hypo Het Leopards) She is loaded with color as so it should be very interesting my friend!

Lucas

perfectpredators Mar 23, 2011 09:22 PM

Oh yes! I saw her posted recently, can't wait to see your litter and see how the double dose does to the OT! Keep me posted please.
