Yeah Terry, Joe M. has posted that awesome male here several times in the past. He captured it in his own back yard as a matter of fact.
Glad that guy is doing well too. Joe did a great job of raising it up and I think he produced hets for the first time just last year in 2010(I think).
There was a girl who had a nice w/c baby amel triangulum and posted it here a while back as well.
Here is a photo of it for your viewing pleasure..LOL!

Damn. That's why I'm glad I'm no longer in school!
The changes in the animal's coloration in that picture you posted, Doug, remind me of an extra light "Sentz line" hypo pyro (are THEY still being called that?) I always described the areas that would have been black on a pyro as "coffee with cream" on that morph. This one looks like that, but with extra latte.
LOL!!,...yes, I agree. This girl's triangulum seems to be a form of very reduced hypomelanism, whereas Joe's is a t-neg. amel.
It definitely does resemble the coloration on a "Sentz" line hypo pyro now that you mention it.
Here is another photo of the girls triangulum, whereas Joe's was the one you linked to. It's definitely not a true amelanistic, but certainly awesome as heck and very unique just the same...

I seem to recall that this one didn't make it. Is that correct?

Wow!,....that sucks Tony!
I wasn't aware of that at all to be quite honest, and hope that isn't the case. You probably know far more about it than I do because I haven't heard anything whatsoever about it since all that scuffling about it being a corn or triangulum last year..

All I have is a recollection. There was also a hypo found in or near Lurey VA a few years back. Last I heard it was doing ok but haven't heard about it in some time.

That's very interesting that another hypo was found in VA.
Were you able to catch a glimpse of it yourself?
thanks for the interesting tid-bit!

and it really doesn't matter if it lived or died (it's alive I thought)...it was wild collected IN PA and posted the location ,right here on the internet...and all wild stuff in PA is not legal...not even the offspring...no matter what loophole people think there is...there is not...so after internet exposure ...it's an off limit snake....and that sucks....I don't think the babies are even allowed to be 'gifted'....and PA has just a couple rules....

Terry,
It was me who found the albino on a Sunday afternoon in 2007 cruizing on the surface out in the yard.
No hets as of yet, but keeping my fingers crossed. Here's a photo from a while back. Both the albino and the red female on the bottom have been warmed up and are feeding great right now.

Joe
Awesome Joe!!
That photo reminds me of Don Hamper's photo in Applegate's book many years ago..LOL!
best of luck with producing het's THIS year bro!

Check this out,A good friend of mine found this young adult out and about in the woods. He took pics and let it go on its way.I could have just killed him.LOL...
Its not a t- but its a t plus or hypo for sure.
L8r Shannon
p.s. he promises me he is going back to try and find it later this spring.Whats the chances though???

Nice Shannon. You sure that was released? It looks a lot like this one that was posted a few years back... (not sure by who, maybe it was you?) Head pattern and some blotches seem pretty close, if not identical.

The more I compare, it is almost definitely the same snake.
On a side note, over the past few years I have found the same L.t.t. a few times in the same general areas. Good luck to your friend.
-----
Joe
Yup, those snakes are identical in pattern; they're for sure the same animal. Shannon, I have to agree with the other poster's question, are you sure the animal was released?
Mitch
That is too funny man!
no question.............the very same animal.
