Any one out there no anything about finding Mexican hognose in S. E. AZ. ? Never had any luck yet. 25 years of lookin! My 17 year old daughter really wants to collect a pair to round out her hog collection.

Why not just buy a pair (a LOT cheaper than finding your own if you figure in gas/time)?

It is what me and my 5 kids do for vacations. They are all home schooled and love herps! So we go to different places each year and try to collect a pair of reptiles for them to study/breed. I have a friend with over 50 hog nosed snakes from all over. If I wanted captives he would give me a pair of my choice.
Every one thinks I am crazy to go out into the wild and spend all that gas! Well your kids are only young for so long!

Money well spent! That's an awesome vacation. It would be alot less expensive to roast marshmallows in my fire place but it's worth everything I have to it over a camp fire with the kids.

Yes that is my thinking also. I just like to find a couple of animals and plants to bring home. I think they are great souvenirs.
When we can say remember when we saw this and..... Very cool great memories!
