I see that people often feed their hogs every 3-4 days, which seems like a lot. I recently got a pair (hatched in '10) and I do want them to grow, but I'm worried about potential impacts of "power feeding." How often can you feed them (and how much at a sitting) without causing health issues somewhere down the road?

It's not really power feeding per say ,just that these snakes have a higher metabolism than most colubrids and defecate the next day after eating here and they start cruising for food.you will get growth not fat with this schedule in my experience.

Feeding frequency can have a lot to do with the temps you keep them at also. I keep my hognose on the hotter side so they require more feeding.
I would say feed them how you feel comfortable. I wouldn't go longer than every 6-7 days.
