Zunchara and Mazar getting it on This morning. Last night I noticed Mazar was going bonkers trying to get out of his cage even though he had the company of Dotz, with whom he had mated multiple times. He was wanting to go in the direction if Zunchara's tub which is clear across the living room, so I figured she must be putting out some major pheromones! I put Dotz in her maternity tub and put Zunchara in with Mazar, and all was quier the rest of the night.

An earlier picture of Zunchara, so you can see what she looks like when she is not being coy and hiding halfway in the moss hide! LOL!

Thanks! I sure hope this all bears fruit! Never done this before with snakes, just fence lizards.

Thanks! I think so, too. She is my favorite one. I hope Mazar has enough spunk left to get her gravid; I think so, as he got down to business with her right away.

Zunchara's half sister Dotz with whom Mazar mated the last several days. She is not as pretty as Zunchara but I chose her because her uneven markings appealed to me. She will make fine babies with robust appetites, but I am really hoping of the two that Zunchara gives me some babies!

They are my first pyros, purchased as woodini in 2008. Since then I have heard that woodini is no longer recognized. Heh....When I was looking for pyros I wanted something that would look like I had just flipped a rock and found it...really wild looking.

Their brother Zane, who is a little guy, although this year he is eating very well and putting on some real growth. I have a big '09 pyro bigger than him.

Combined with Mazar's even pattern I am hoping for some dynamite offspring from those two. I was ecstatic to see them locked up this morning! LOL!

Bob, Zunchara is one of the best looking pyros I have seen. I remember when you first posted pics of her and caused quite a stir!! Hope you get some fertile eggs and good luck.
