Am I just not understanding it? Was so easy with the old way, (the old forums!). Is it just me?

Although I did not try it, it does not seem any more confusing. They just provided an example for you to go by so you can more effectively search the forums. There is a forum that you can use to ask questions and provide feedback to the staff. I suggest you post there to get help.
