Do gophers like to climb?

joann42 Mar 27, 2011 03:16 PM

I need to add some branches to a display cage.It was originally built for a boa but the heating has gotten so frustrating I decided it would be better for the gophers.Ive removed the shelf and brick.Put in more fake plants and bark hides but I needs some branches. Its the bottom cage. The top has a JCP in it.
Anyway I just wondered if they would use them if I put them in?

They might appreciate a log to bask on. They are fossorial meaning they mostly like to be underground in tunnels so deep bedding and tubes to crawl through work good for them.
