Not sure if they have been bred in the past.

Good news is there are several of my forum friends working with these AWESOME Monitors.

JBourgos aka (Krusty) has witnessed copulation!
His female has blown up, she is a bit past her gestation period but hey with Krusty you never know...he is the MAN!

My male has been courting my female for the past 2 days so I am very excited!

All others report nothing at this time.

About the name thing, I was appologizing to "Krusty". LOL

As for a trigger to stimulate breeding I change nothing.
My temps and humdity remain the same year round.

Wow Mike, not even close. LOL That's ok....i never remember if you're spelled with an F or a PH.

Mine have locked up and mated, i've had pseudo-cycles where females puff up and seem gravid, but haven't found any eggs. With all other species I work with, you don't have to do anything other than feed them well and keep them warm and humid and they take care of the rest.

A guy named Daniel Moldavon (probably butchered his last name spelling) in Europe successfully bred his and did a write up about it in Biawak. I think his were CBB's so somebody else had to have bred them one other time over there as well. I don't think anyone in the USA has bred them though. I'm trying.....
