You're right. They can. Last year's IGUANA IGUANA newsletter had a recipe for baking Halloween treats just for your ig. It had pumpkin as one of the ingredients. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the issue I'm not sure how much pumkin as a steady diet an ig could eat, but it's related to squash, so it shouldn't be that bad.

I give pumpkin to my MTS, Beardie, Uro and tortoises too!It seems that besides being rich of vitamins, etc, its a good natural de-worm.

Once a year, we eat pumpkin instead of the usual squash. It may be a natural dewormer too.
