Whenever I try to post a photo-pictures taken with my cellphone and digital camera, I get an error message that they are too large. Is there an easy fix to this?

Whenever I try to post a photo-pictures taken with my cellphone and digital camera, I get an error message that they are too large. Is there an easy fix to this?
You need to upload the photo to a site like 'photobucket' or 'flickr' first. Then get the image address and post it like this:
[_img]http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i152/captivebredherps/scrubJ2.jpg[/IMG]
** Minus the _ in the first [img]
