that's a nice baby Bluetail- i'm hoping to get a third Doreanus down the road wish you luck my two were not as calm as yours as babies. Moe

Thanks, he is fairly calm and is okay with me cleaning his tank but I can't handle him cause he is constantly on the run so I'm gonna let him get more comfortable with time. Hes my first monitor but definitely not the last. awesome animals.

resist the urge to handle, despite their appearance of being calm it's very stressful the body slows down but their heartbeat increases.Ed has interacted with his Bluetails,on their terms, and has had great success.

If you dont mind me asking where did you get it? I have dorenaus now and a third on the way. Love them. very challenging species but with proper husbandy they can be awesome!
