Second Clutch Of The Year!

JTColubrids Mar 31, 2011 08:54 PM

This girl laid 11 Eggs today and still has the dirt on her! She will eat up and hopefully lay me another clutch!

Male

Female Minus 11 perfect pearly whites!

Have a bunch more girls that are ready to lay any day now! The first clutch was that male sulfur het lav bred to another sulfur het lav girl... The sulfur lavs from these guys should be INSANE!

Goodluck to everyone and post some pics of clutches when they start hatching!

She looks like she needs some major fattening up before doing a second clutch. Very nice color. Wishing you success this season!

I know it! She dropped a way big first clutch but she eats like a hog! Ill post pics of her when she has eggs again!

Thanks! I'll try to get some better pics today (not inside haha). If it turns out to be an overcast day by this evening their true colors should come out even more.

I hope I didn't offend you by stating what you already knew.

My little male pyro is thin now from all his mating, and I hope he starts eating like a hog!

No not at all, I just wanted to make sure it was clear that she was going to bulk up a bunch before she lays again... didn't want you guys thinkin that I think that female is fat haha Thanks for the compliments

And don't worry too much about the males, they can go off feed for a long time and bounce back quickly

Should be some nice offspring there. That male sulfur is awesome! Reminds me a lot of my younger adult male.
