The overhead photos showed Toms property. An article did say that the gunman barricaded himself in his house, I think that was a typo.

No its listed as Bruce's property in the registers.

Interesting. It is the same place that we went to visit Tom.

Yes Tom is/was the face of the company, but Bruce was the money man.

bruce owned the property tom owned the animals on the property.

Bruce owned the home and property and bought a lot of the animals.

Everything that Bruce owned was in his WILL and it was to all go to TOM if bruce died.

Since bruce died, I guess its now Toms. Though there is a homicide investigation ongoing.

It will get interesting over next few weeks.

first thing you see on every bit of media on this is about how its "a reptile breeder"'s home. dont think the wonderful people like Bill Nelson are going to let this one slide?

If Bill Nelson makes any anti herp thing out of this at all he's a bigger moron that I thought he was in the first place. Even the people who write his speeches can't be that dumb...

It was his partner, Bruce Stephenson, found dead, and it is presumed he was the shooter as well.

I think the homicide investigation part is a misprint. It was an odd thing to read though.

it wasnt money or animals, from what i hear it was "the other thing men get mad about" that actually started the issue.

I really, really, really hope you were not hinting it was over a woman. If it was I don't even really know what to say unless someone did your daughter wrong. Over a wife or girlfriend, Hell you bring the truck and I will help YOU load her stuff.
But I am very sorry that someone lost their life especialy a fellow herper.

i wanted to add to my statement that what i heard is hear say and i can not state as fact. my sources are legite and close but in these circumstances rumors fly about and truth becomes sketchy. tom will without a doubt state a story when all is done and we can all know what happened but as for now i doubt we will get actual truth for quite some time.
