Hello everyone,
My hognose refused to eat for the second week in a row and i knew something was up so i did a close examination of her. I see mucus coming out of her mouth and one side of her jaw is slightly puffed out. Mouthrot? resp infection? For the time being i increased her entire cage to 85 degrees.
Before today her cage setup was a shoebox tote with heat tape on one end, temp on coolside was 75, warm side was 85-90, substrate is shredded newspaper.
she is a hatchling from last fall
I am calling the vet tomorrow
