I am envious of you, all of you!!! Everyone seems to be able to take all these wonderful pictures of there animals. I can’t get my snakes to slow down long enough. I have thought about putting them in the fridge for a minute just to slow them down long enough to take some good pictures!!! JK
Put the snake under a bowl for a few minutes. That usually does the trick for me when I have a wiggly one. Even a couple seconds of stillness is helpful, lol.

Thanks, I'll try it
Get pairs of plastic bowls, small, medium and large. Cut matching notches in the side of each one. Use both bowls with notches aligned, the snake will slither in and you can rotate the bowls to close off the opening as it passes through. Once fully inside, a small weight (my spray bottle or flashlight do the trick for me) will keep them from lifting the bowl and they will settle down. After a minute or so, when you lift off the bowl they remain motionless for a bit. I often do the same trick with my cupped hands for a baby. Of course they eventually outgrow my hands and then the bowls are the only way to go.
Hmmm, I think I have some pics somewhere, will look......

Finger in nose while cupping baby snake under hand may leave your nose too close to the business end of the snake. Actually too close to either business end for that matter!!

That first one is neat, very strange pattern. I also really like
the king snake, very pretty. Great pics.
Thanks,
Ed
