sunglow with a motley het for albino

cainescolumbians Apr 02, 2011 10:35 PM

Hi my name is Mike

I have been doing some research on line on how to get sunglow baby boas. And everything seems to be the same. You need to take a hypo het for albino and breed it with a albino. But my question is can I get sunglows if I just reverse that order? What I mean by that is, I have a sunglow female AKA a hypo albino and a motley het for albino. If I breed those two together could I get any sunglows?

Short answer is yes.

Statistically, for every 8 babies they produced you could expect one of each of the following -

Normal het albino
Hypo het albino
Motley het albino
Hypo Motley het albino
Albino
Sunglow
Albino Motley
Sunglow Motley

The answer to your question is yes. Theoretically you would get normals het for albino, motleys het for albino, hypos het for albino, hypo motleys het for albino, sunglows and motley sunglows.
