Chocolates...?

RyanT Apr 04, 2011 01:33 PM

Anyone wanna discuss Chocolates or share pics of their Chocolate-related projects? I recently got a male Choc. Pin from Carson Phelps. Getting one has been at the top of my list for a while and now I'm loving having him. I've developed a major interest in the Chocolates. Doesn't seem like there are many around at all. I can't wait to start producing them and making combos with my male next year.

I have this huge female below that I got from Joe Ellis. I've been working with for 3 years now. She slugged out on me last year but she's doing great this year and should hopefully be ovulating any second. I've always expected her to be a Mojave but now I'm hoping she turns out to be a Chocolate. I know it's unlikely...Wishful thinking.

Ha! That pic of the Pastel Camo has been my desktop background for a few weeks now. Those are really nice animals you posted. Thanks.

I know, I'm really loving the Chocolates. I always tend to develop the biggest interest in the darker colored morphs and Chocolates are "taking the cake" for me right now. Definitely wanna explore everything they have to offer. Now if I could just find some females.

Good luck proving your female!

I picked the founding girl from my Garcia line up at a pet store. She is normally much darker but here she is glowing breeding back to her son last year.

And here is an old pic of her chocolate mojave daughter who has bred the same chocolate male this year as well as a cinnamon and a mojave. She is still borderline on size so not sure I will get anything but of course would love to see the super chocolate mojave, mojave chocolate cinnamon, or even chocolate super mojave.

I've seen chocolate cinnamons and they are pretty cool. Im guessing a black pastel will be better with its busy pattern.

Do you remember who produced the Choc cony you saw?

Supposed to be Choc cinny not cony.

Seems like she was about 1,000 grams when I found her. Of course she probably started out as a ch baby and then came back but wish I could find some info on her history. I also initially thought she might have been a mojave (this was years before I actually got to see a mojave in person).

Wow...Those are all awesome. Cool story too. Makes me wonder if my female actually could be. I see a lot of similarities. Can't wait to find out, I haven't been this interested in working with a certain trait for a while.

I dont think I was really sworn to secrecy so I will tell now and suffer the consequences later I guess. I picked up what I believe is an unproven type of Chocolate Morph from Brandon at Priceless Pythons about a year and a half ago and she will be breeding size next breeding season. Brandon is working with them right now on a couple of projects to prove them out I believe and I intend to use my female with a Chocolate Pin next year. Sorry if this causes you untold amounts of phone calls Brandon but this girl is great looking and has the whitest bottom that any Morph could have.. Sorry I dont have a picture to put up here of her guys but i'm a little ret***ed when it comes to computer literacy. Oh for my good friend Josh, I might be one but atleast Im not a ******... Lmao Jay
