I'm looking for advice about Savanna Monitors. More in depth information, I know the basics. I'm looking for someone who owns, has owned, or just has knowledge about them...to tell me more about them, and their experiences with the monitor.
I was given a Savannah Monitor by my room-mate, and i dont know much about them. I have so many questions, that i cannot find the answers to (i have looked at many websites!).
Ive been around, and have had reptiles for years (mostly snakes)! But have had nothing to do with Monitors. I know my hands are going to be full, and i'm probably in over my head, but i just want to do the right thing, and get him to where he needs to be.
He's 1 years old, and 7 inches long (tip of tail to mouth).

In no more then 5 min I find 10 topics that treat, in details, various aspects of this spe husbandry.
Get a copy of the Bennett and Ravi Savannah Monitor book, available at our site. It is now out of print, supplies are limited, and NO OTHER Savannah book is to be considered a substitute for this one.
It is inexpensive, and covers all of the info that you need.
