Ball Python is shedding and looks raw!

Rotty Apr 06, 2011 09:25 PM

I have a ball python that just started shedding yesterday, today I picked him up and his underside looks like it is raw where the dried skin has come away. Some areas also appear to be drying and scabbing over as well. Has anyone had something like this happen before? Any advice would be appreciated.

Might be a burn that is healing.

Sounds like you have an under belly heat source that is too hot and it has burned the snake.
