Beautiful boa, just love that color. Pastels are my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

In 2001 I got a very nice looking very dark adult Colombian female that had a red (Very red) background color from a local petshop. She was brought in by someone who could no longer keep her, & the guy running the reptile department (Matt Schubarth) called me up thinking I'd like her, & boy was he right so I bought her (I got a killer deal too, Thanks again Matt!). I paired her up with a nice looking male who has a little pink on his sides & very little black. The female gave birth to 20 live babies on May 23rd 2002 (My 1st boa litter ever) & all of them were at least a little pink, but a few were/are very pink pastel boas. Of course I kept what I felt were the best, & have been producing my own line of pink pastels since.

Thanks for the in depth info. Great job on the reproducing of the pastel gene. I would take a beautiful pastel over most morphs nowadays.

Wow Dan... that is a very nice pastel. Your line sure has consistantly produced some smokers. See ya around.
