Laticinctus retained sperm clutch hatch

Here's a couple pics from the surprise clutch I had. Another female Laticinctus I have, just laid eggs last week after having not been with a male for 9 months. So that has happened to me twice in the last year, after not happening in the last 15 years. Anyone else experiencing this with this species?
