and I wouldn't dare post a single question I have on husbandry on this forum....I did once and was told practically what an idiot I was for not caring for my snakes the way someone wanted me too.
From that day forward I only post my life experiences in this hobby and will not get into any discussion on husbandry of any animal unless it is strictly my life experience.I research what I can, either at the library or online if I can't find the answer with in the collection of books I have at home. I will discuss possible genetics as the books I have on hand only do punnet squares, I will also post pictures of animals and congratulate people on a job well done....
I find this forum sad, and I feel terrible for the poster down below to listen to seasoned people in this hobby argue on what's best for the animal. I know some of us here have children, and we know that every child is different and each one thrives in different situations, but the basic care of food, water, and housing has to be there in some form or another to survive.
Some parents feel that all natural butter is better than margarine, even scientists don't know! As they have flip flopped on that subject more than once in my lifetime. So parents make the decision on what's best by what they know and what has worked for friends or family. Whether it be right wrong or indifferent.
It's a shame to have someone with 30 yrs experience not want to post his findingsand/or experiences with us because of childish arguments. I can understand why some of the well known kings and milk breeders don't post anymore. This forum has been around a long time and has some real valuable information in its archives, and could continue but not at this rate.
I don't know if this was the best thing to do is post this, but I have to get it off my chest, I am here to increase my knowledge of this hobby. I hope to do so but don't want to wade through 25 posts of arguments to find that diamond in the rough.
Thanks for reading and I am getting back to what I enjoy. Talking snakes among colleages and breeding, feeding, and caring for them the best way I know how.
