also, my mother found this snapper on the side walk while i was at work, any clue what kinda of snaper it is?

The picture is a little blurry, but it looks like it is a baby Common Snapping Turtle.

ya its a little blurry, i am getting some hoya close up lenses for it. I found a website that told me how big they got, never mind. im taking him to the lake and releasing him.
