Help with bull frog please

steffke Sep 28, 2003 09:34 PM

We were closing up our small pond for the year and found a large bull frog. We brought him in and have been unable to get him to eat. He was a bit thin when we found him. I have tried superworms, which he ignores; moths and other insects from the yard. Please give me some tips and direct me to where I can get a good care sheet. I would like to release him back into the yard next year when we buy more tadpoles to put back into the pond.

try buying some feeder guppies or rosies at a pet store. They might work if he is ignoring the insects. Bullfrogs are usually verocious eaters at least with my experience.
