I set up a replacement group because my original group is getting old and 2 of the 4 moms are really slowing down. Thats the good thing about record keeping. I know which ones are slowing down.
My new problem is that all the new moms gave birth within 48 hrs. 39 pups between 4 moms. I'm begining to consider my freezer the most important part of my feeder system.
I think I'm going to fill my freezer, cut down to one pair (just to keep the blood line), and then not have to raise rats for a while.
