i found a few, shall i say "interesting" posts on craigslist under ball pythons.

Heres part of one:

"MUST SALE! Have had my electricity turned off, my poor python needs a better home. Not sure what sex it is, but it is about 6 ft. long. eats med. to lg rats.It is healthy and very gorgeous. dark markings."

Did she really say her power is out so she has to sell it? And also, 6ft, really?

Another ad was also disapointing:

"2 FT. BALL PYTHON. WILL GROW TO ABOUT 7FT. VERY TAMED & PEOPLE FRIENDLY. ABOUT 1 YEAR OLD. VERY WELL FED AND CARED FOR. COMES WITH CUSTOM CAGE W/BUILT IN HEATER AND ACCESSORYS. $110 OBO. TO GOOD HOME."

Did he really say that it will grow to 7ft? I sent an email to inform them that they have that wrong, but they should have done their research in the first place.

Saw one the other day where the guy had an adult corn snake AND ball python in the same tank. He thought it was ok because it was a 75 gallon.

And another one with a dude keeping a boa and 2 balls in the same tank...

Or a 1 year old female spider boa constrictor. (With a pic of a normal ball)

A 30" gator that was stunted by little feeding and very little light. (Oh yeah...it's real)

and the best....a duckling kept in a 55 gallon tank on aquarium gravel.

the filter seems to be working well also.?....
really...people are so stupid it sucks ....
