Keep Michael Vick off the Madden cover

garweft Apr 18, 2011 08:49 PM

It's no secret that Philadelphia QB Mike Vick isn't well liked buy a lot of us due to his actions in dog fighting. And if you didn't know, he is 1 step away from being on the cover of the Madden '12 football video game this year.

Good news is you have a chance to stop this from happening by going to the Madden '12 cover site and vote for Cleveland Browns RB Peyton Hillis. Here's a direct link below.

Spread the news and keep the dog killer off the cover......

don't listen to the other people who think " lighten up" they are just naive and don't know what their talking about

thanks for the post- I have three pitbulls- I can't stand how the general public has completely forgiven and forgotten about what he capable of- people like that who have no compassion for animals are a different species of human then you or I

While it is your personal choice as far as who you vote for on that cover, do you think hounding (no pun intended) this guy for the rest of his life is healthy?

He served his prison time for his crime, and he seems to be trying to turn his life around. At what point does forgiveness come into play? There are people who have done a lot worse (think our honorable politicians) and caused the loss of lives both human and animal by their actions. I sure hope you ride them just as hard...

I agree with Oeleo, the judge and jury at his trial heard firsthand what happened, and he was sentenced accordingly, and did his time. I guess others have their own personal sentences that they handed down themselves.

Obviously the Manufacture's of the Madden Video Game and the Business world that still pays Michael for the use of his name and picture to endorse their products have done enough research to know that the majority must now consider he has paid his debt and it's in the past. And the numbers of people that will reject to this must be insignificant enough for the Business World to think it's worthwhile to go forward and use his name recognition for their endorsements.

Now this is just for a cover of a Video Game for a sport in which he excels in. If it was to protest him for judging the American Kennel Association, then I might see some eyebrows being raised.

Thanks for reading,
Lassie

He should be given a 2nd chance. We will see. I am a dog lover myself, but we all need a 2nd chance unless we are talking about harming humans. No 2nd chance !

Snakemanmoss Apr 20, 2011 06:34 PM

totally agreed- I'm right there with you
