pd hets and sterling boas

rickmoss95 Apr 20, 2011 11:08 AM

was checkin out the princess diamond hets and i thought they resembled the sterling boas in a few ways. obviously they are different but how kickass would it be for two brand new lines of lucy to be brought to us? my buddy doesnt seem to think the sterlings are gonna prove genetic but i disagree, when you have that many animals in a litter it makes me think they will prove genetic...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. i know the chances of getting another lucy line is insanely low, but...how cool would it be!

I have paired the Sterling Litter's parents again and am hoping for babies on or about 6/26/11. If there are Sterlings in that litter, it just might be genetic. I'll keep you posted.

there is no doubt in my eyes! and sterlings are in my top three favorites of ANY boas on the planet!!! i love the color and lack of pattern, clean eyes...black on the tails, simply amazing animals! congrats! i hope to own one someday. i dont think ide even combo that morph! its already perfect in my eyes.....if you dont have room and need someone to raise one up, even with a "normal" sib....i have some free space!

When you produce more sterlings in your next litter, I can't wait to see those hets for sale.

I would bet the house on it that the Patternless or Sterling morph is genetic. We are working with almost twenty pos het Patternless, some being orange tail hypos, that came from the original owner and producer of the matriarch patternless harlequin. I believe he had the same odds as the sterling litter. It came out just like a het to het breeding. We will keep people up to date as well.
