Aztec Litter!

sdi Apr 20, 2011 03:58 PM

I am a big fan - heavy/chunky pattern, ladder tails and square lateral markings! Great for making all strains of albino.

Thanks for looking and good luck this season!

I didn't realize that the Aztec gene had such a strong affect on color as well as pattern. They will make great albinos.

Good luck this season!

I'm not an Aztec fan, but those are sweet! Congrats!

Thanks Lar, the color was an added bonus and is making me rethink what I am going to do with them.

I love Aztecs and your litter is fantastic. Would it be possible to see the parents. This is one project that will only get better and better as it is combined with other morphs and colors. Thank you and congratulations

sdi Apr 21, 2011 08:39 AM

There are a lot of dominant and recessive combos to be made giving this project a long life.

Here are some older photos of the parents.

sire:

Dam:

and a photo before she darkened up from her first litter in 2008.

Thanks for your interest in the project and good luck this season!

Those are awesome! There is no other morph like the Aztec. They are like a motley and jungle wraped into one. I can't wait to see them as soon as they are crossed with all the strains of albino!

Congratulations!

I really like the patterns also. I think they will have some really good color as they mature.
