Has someone experienced this?

My RTB shed a month or so ago, and I noticed after he shed he had some skin still attached to him and it was stuck to the cloaca. I got off what I could but it seemed there was still some there. There is no skin visibly still attached on his scales, but I'm wondering if something is wrong inside. He has eaten a couple big meals since then and it has been over a month and he hasn't defecated. I don't think I have seen him go this long without defecating and I have had him for years. Is there something I should do to check and make sure everything is ok? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

wouldnt worry too much about the skin issue(unless it continues)...maybe check to see if your humidity is high enough. give him a nice warm soak and he may dump for ya. i wouldnt feed him again untill he does crap though....

I believe what you were seeing is the skin sheath on the hemi-penes, that should come off with normal voiding- that fact he has not defecated is a little more concerning, you can try soaking him in warm-ish water a couple times a day- and double check your temps to make sure it couldn't be anything environmental- if that doesn't work within another week ( making it 5 weeks since the last void?) I would consult a veterinarian, and make sure there is no impaction- that's just my opinion, I am no expert, good luck
