Questions about Fire Ball Pythons

seastrid Apr 21, 2011 10:14 PM

I was wondering a few things about Fire Ball Pythons:
1) Are the Dom or Recessive?
2) They are just a Color mutation correct?
3) Are there any notable combos breed from a Fire?
Thanks guys!
Stephen

Go check out this link, and type Fire into the search. There are a lot of cool animals with the fire gene in it. Fire is also Co-Dominate.

Does anyone else have a problem w/the speed on that site? It seems like there is too much info for the server!

Fires are co-dominant

The super fire is a Black Eyed Lucy that can have yellow patch on it, low or high depends.

It's a color mutation mostly (head pattern being a little bit different).

There are great combos if you fallow other people links.
The most well know is the Firefly.
There is the desert fire aka phoenix (from Alextreme Reptiles & Regius.Co)
And many more.

Fires, Sulfurs, Lemon Backs, and a few more are all Het Black Eyed Lucies...meaning they have a Super form, making them Co Dom.
Here is a cool High Orange Super Sulfur I produced. He is breeding for me this year. Click the IMAGE link for a full body shot of him.

other various reptiles, animals, kids and a smoking sweet husband; would be perfect if he only liked ball pythons...
