OT - successful feeding time!

Obviously my baby BRB eats like a trash compactor, but I wanted to share that my adult ball python finally broke her current fast! I know this could go in a different forum but what the heck, I like you guys! My BP's never been an aggressive eater (go figure, right?) but last night she hit her rat so hard that she sheared the tail right off and it was left dangling in my hemistats before I could even react! I'm so proud of my "pet rock" lol!

Do you think other pet owners get this excited when their animals eat?

I used to have a couple PR's and they'd regularly go off feed in the winter. was always a relief when they finally started eating again!!!

My young BRB eats like a champ, including today. However, I also have a pet rock that hasn't eaten since December. Not my favorite snake, but it technically is my son's, so gonna have to keep it.

I find that all my snakes, with the exception of the BRB, don't strike at prey anymore. They just slither down to it and gobble it up. Kind of takes the fun out of feeding.
