Thanks Michael....BTW it's (Mik - I - el) for those that don't know....LOL

The first Intermediate Thayeri was produced by Tom Anderson. Dan Vermilya X Vivid Reptiles pairing. He is the sibling brother to the third MSP posted.

The second MSP is a Vivid Reptiles animal once owned by Chris Flowers.

The fourth picture is a Leonis female produced by Jonel Lopez. Applegate / Baubel lineage.

The last female was produced by Chris Garcia.

Some nice thayeri, too! This thread is sort of confusing. My first comment was about the pair of alternas.

Those look like thayeri sort of, except for the bug eyes that grey bands have. The markings look sort of leonis. I am no alterna-thayeri expert, so please don't think I am insulting them or anything. They are beautiful.

In fact thayeri and alterna are closely related.....they both have similar stories.....
Alterna were once split into Blairi and Alterna. Everyone thought they were two different snakes until a w/c gravid female laid eggs and both hatched out of one clutch.
L. m. Leonis was the name first given to the South of the border montane kingssnakes in Nuevo Leon.....Then Milk Snake Phase and Leonis hatched out of a single clutch......Now they are called Thayeri but Most believe they should all be called Leonis since that was their first name...similar to the Alterna name kept for Gray Banded Kings.....
The MSP Thayeri are very similar to the Blairs Phase Alterna.
And the Leonis Thayeri are very similar to the Alternate Phase Alterna.......

And these are PURE River Road locale Gray Banded Kings (L. alterna).......I think they should still be called L. m. alterna, but I am kinda old school......I would like to think they are our North of the border Mexicana.....
